If we will say here that in 2012, 12.4 million passengers walked through the airport gates, a 1.4% rise from 2011, and that the airplane traffic in Ben Gurion airport  by the year of 2012  came to a total of 89.7 thousand takeoffs and landings, when the leading company to and from the airport was the national company "El-Al" that transported 4.09 million passengers, How can we calculate the stream of tourists that enter Israel when the receptions of solely tourists through Ben Gurion airport rise every year?

It's true that during "Pillar of defense" operation there was a two month abatement in tourist entries to Israel, but the moment there's a rise, the national pride increases as well.

There is another key point in the field of incoming tourism that enters the state of Israel and it's in the various attractive aspects in this country: the historical sites (like Massada), the sacred sites to the three religions (Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Hebron, Nazareth ), the unique lifestyles (such as the kibbutz and the moshav) and of course the city that never sleeps, Tel-Aviv, a city that doesn't fall from any large and worldwide known city such as Amsterdam, New York or Paris. A lively, vigorous city full of experiences and pleasures. An advanced city which contains all populations. One yearly pride parade itself drives a mass of tourists from all over the world to the city.

Israel in the 2000 decade is definitely an attraction to tourists. Indeed, it is not cheap, but still, it is very satisfying and fullfilling in regards of enjoying and stimulating all senses.

And if we return to the topic of tourist transporting by planes, we can conclude how much work there is for the vehicle transportation companies that specialize in transporting tourists in different vehicles; Limozines or just highly tech accessorized vehicles in order to give the tourist (and especialy those who proclaim vip) the best experience worth his money.
